Mathematics Awareness Month (November 2014)

Theme: ‘MATHEMATICS IN ACTION’: see it, speak it, use it, live it
Our Mathematics assembly paved the way forward for a plethora of activities geared at further sensitizing our students of the importance and relevance of mathematics within the school’s curriculum. This year’s assembly was spearheaded by a group of students who ensured every aspect was carefully curtailed into the hour long program. This year’s esteemed guest speaker was none other than Mrs. Nitha  Mauricette Phillip, a SALCC Lecturer who has devoted almost decades for molding young impressionable minds where Mathematics learning is concerned. A very interactive presentation was the highlight of the morning as the students were well engaged from the start of the assembly.
